The Atlantic Paranormal Society

The Atlantic Paranormal Society, or TAPS, is the paranormal investigators group that stars in Ghost Hunters series. The group is based in New England, and was started by Jason Hawes along with partner Grant. Both Jason and Grant, active paranormal investigators, had experiences in their lives that led them into investigating paranormal activity, although they are pretty secretive about the details of their personal experiences. The Atlantic Paranormal Society goes to people's homes, businesses, restaurants, and hotels in order to help them out with disturbances. These paranormal investigators have become pop culture icons, and have spawned several spin-offs in terms of Ghost Hunters International show and another show about training ghost hunters.
