Where is Hell? Does Hell Exist?
I often hear people refer to "hell" as if it is a place down under (not Australia) that is burning hot and for the damned spirits. In reality, hell is a state of mind and not a place. Spirits are in "hell" when they feel complete despair, are separated from the source or "God" as some call it. These poor souls believe there is no love for them on either side of the veil - in life or in the afterlife. They feel no one loves them or cares about them, so they go to a very dark place. Basically, they create their own hell out of their own situation / state of mind. However, no one is forsaken. By simply calling on "God" or asking that the "light" shine on their souls, they can be taken from their personal hell and brought back into the light of the Creator. We are on this earth to learn, so you will make mistakes and absolutely encounter problems - that's part of the deal. You will not be judged by the mistakes you make but how you react to your mistakes, try to remedy wrongdoing, etc. See you next time on Paranormal Activity Blog.

Paranormal Investigation Techniques - Three Tools Ghost Hunters Need

Paranormal investigation that we see in TV are fascinating - many cool gadgets, from digital recorders to infrared camcorders and stuff like this. I am paranormal investigator myself for quite some time now, and I have to admit - sure, all these electronic gadgets are cool and flashy, but do you really need them? No - in most cases they're useless. From my own perspective, true paranormal investigator needs three simple "tools" and nothing more. These mandatory tools will be described and explained now.
Brain
First tool is your brain - or in other words, your mind. This is something many ghost hunter wannabe forgets - you can use digital cameras, recorders, lasers, EM meters etc, but if you won't use your brain, all the data you gather will be useless. In paranormal investigation always use your mind - connect the facts, analyze the proofs, seek explanations, perform experiments - this cannot be done with expensive gadgets, but only with your mind. This is the first tool you need.
Body
The second mandatory tools is your body. During your investigation you might need to use brutal physical force. Or you might end up in some cold place, surrounded by snow and freezing air. Or you might investigate during very, very hot day. Paranormal investigation won't always take you to warm and pleasant places. Sometimes you will visit abandoned locations with now way of warming yourself, and you might need to use your physical body to survive, for example when will fall along with the floor five meters down. Paranormal investigations are not always safe, so keep this in mind - your physical body should be in good shape, just in case.
Notebook
Finally, your last mandatory tool is a notebook - it is said that ghosts and spirits might cause malfunctions of any electronic or electrical equipment, and in case your iPad goes down, you need something to keep notes. Believe it or not, but even with technological advancement in XXI century, simple paper notebooks are still most reliable methods of saving information you gather during your investigation. Those are the three mandatory tools you need during each paranormal investigation. Of course, you might need flashlight too, but it won't be very useful if you won't be using your brain, body and notebook. Without these three elements, no gadget will do you any good. Keep this in mind and good luck with your investigations.

Test Your Psychic Ability
Want to test your psychic ability? If you have psychic ability and you want to test it, you can use simple things such as a deck of cards or a pair of dice. When using a deck of cards to test your psychic ability, hold the deck of cards in your hand and try to guess whether the next card will be black or red, then flip over a card and see. Record how many times you are correct. If you get more than 50% right, you may have psychic ability. This is just one test of psychic ability - you can also use cards to guess whether the card will be a heart, diamond, the number on the card, etc.
In using a die to test your psychic ability, simply guess what the number rolled will be and then roll the dice. Again, record your answers and see how many times you are correct.

Paranormal Phenomena

Apparently ghosts can make a wide volume of noises, as humans can sometimes hear them quite clearly, and other times people can't hear them even though they are speaking and it shows up later as an EVP when the recording is reviewed. Equipment that picks up heat signatures is also used by paranormal investigators, as ghosts live in a dimension that is colder than the one we live in. They can show up as they warm up to enter our dimension, even when they are invisible to the naked eye. In this way, advanced technology is allowing us to see into this other dimension that we would not otherwise even know existed. Digital cameras are used in paranormal research, by paranormal investigators, for pictures and video as well. Video cameras, especially ones that are triggered by movement or motion, are essential in ghost hunting and other paranormal research.

Is Paranormal Activity based on true events? The popular Paranormal Activity and the Paranormal Activity 2 sequel, are popular horror movies and many people are asking if it is based on real events.
No, "Paranormal Activity" is most certainly not based on a true story or true events.
According to the director, Oren Peli, moving into a new home in San Diego, California, was the inspiration for "Paranormal Activity".
"I never lived in a single detached family home," Peli said, so he wasn't used to all those things that go bump in the night in a house. This, in particular, created the idea of how a video can document these things that go bump in the night. Hence, the movies Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Activity 2.
Like the Blair Witch Project, a movie may claim to be true when really it is not in order to make the movie scarier to movie goers.

The Atlantic Paranormal Society
The Atlantic Paranormal Society, or TAPS, is the paranormal investigators group that stars in Ghost Hunters series. The group is based in New England, and was started by Jason Hawes along with partner Grant. Both Jason and Grant, active paranormal investigators, had experiences in their lives that led them into investigating paranormal activity, although they are pretty secretive about the details of their personal experiences. The Atlantic Paranormal Society goes to people's homes, businesses, restaurants, and hotels in order to help them out with disturbances. These paranormal investigators have become pop culture icons, and have spawned several spin-offs in terms of Ghost Hunters International show and another show about training ghost hunters.
Paranormal State
Paranormal State is a television show on A&E where paranormal investigators, college students from Penn State investigate paranormal activity in people's homes, restaurants, hotels, etc. The director of the group is named Ryan, head paranormal investigator, who had his own paranormal experiences as a child. On one show I believe Ryan said that a small troll-like being came into his bedroom at night. Ryan often has to fight demons in addition to ghostly entities, and uses priests, Lorraine Warren - a famous psychic, holy water, baptism and any other means in his job as one of the paranormal investigators.
Paranormal Activity: Soldier By an Oak Tree
An instance of paranormal activity: On my way home from town, I was passing several fields in the middle of nowhere. I had my baby in the back seat in a car seat. As we passed a field, I noticed a tattered soldier in Confederate uniform sitting on the grown, with his back against an old oak tree. This is in the middle of nowhere. He was not completely formed, basically a lighter image than a normal person but still very easy to see. As I drove past, amazed at this sight, the soldier lifted up his head and looked at me with a very vacant stare. He then put his head back down. I said to my daughter, "did you see that?" but then realized she's just a baby and hadn't seen anything. This paranormal activity occurred about twelve years ago.
